Title:

Reverse Engineering the Windhexe
Date:

May 2023
Description:

In collaboration with the Martin Fleishmann Memorial Project we're reverse engineering a rather interesting machine called the Windhexe. This vortex dryer and grinding apparatus has been invented by a farmer from Kansas called Frank Polifka who called it "the tornado in a can" back in 2001. Bob Greenyer has a rather remarkable hypothesis on the actual physics that the Windhexe utilizes and we've decided to put his hypothesis to the test.
Bob presents his hypothesis in this live stream on youtube.

This seemed to be a rather useful machine regardless if Bob's hypothesis is correct or not. So we immediately reverse engineered the patent designs into a 3D model ready for prototyping. We published all of our logs, work and progress open source at www.windhexe.com

More work will be published in the near future
