Commissioned by Corine van Voorbergen in collaboration with Rijksmueum and Makerstow CNC. Connecting the past with modern design and manufacturing techniques. Converting a high resolution scan of a 19th century oil on canvas painting by Rachel Ruijs with computational design programming into a 3D heightmap ready for CNC and epoxy resin finishing. Creating a sub surface scattering contrast by height differentials on the back surface.​
